We want our patients to feel comfortable with their health care services, so we make it our duty to inform all of our patients that they have the right to:

Patient Responsibilities

To ensure that our patients receive the best care possible, we encourage our patients to take their own patient responsibilities seriously, including:
  • Providing accurate and complete patient information relating to their health, including past illnesses, hospitalisations, medications and other related matters
  • Reporting unexpected changes in their current health condition
  • Reporting to their care practitioner if they do not understand or comprehend their course of treatment, or what is expected of them
  • Following the practitioner's recommended treatment plan
  • Staying on top of appointments by notifying the health care centre when unable to make an appointment
  • Accepting the consequences if/when the patient refuses treatment or does not follow their practitioner's instructions

Patient Code of Conduct

Under no circumstances do we allow aggressive or violent behaviours toward our patients or our workers. These behaviours include:
  • Threats or threatening behaviours that suggest harm to another person
  • Direct physical attacks such as hitting, shoving, kicking, pinching, etc.
  • Aggravated assault with a weapon or dangerous object
  • Sexual harassment or sexual assault
